These terms explain the rules for using SLIIK, a platform designed to help creators list themselves and help brands discover and contact creators.
1. About SLIIK
SLIIK is a creator discovery platform. Creators can submit information about themselves and create public listings that may be discovered by brands and other visitors.
SLIIK primarily provides the infrastructure for discovery and connection. SLIIK is not a talent agency, employer, advertising agency, or party to agreements made directly between creators and brands.
2. Using SLIIK
By using SLIIK, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not use SLIIK to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or creator
- Misuse another person's personal information
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes
- Scrape, copy, or commercially exploit platform content without permission
3. Creator listings
Creators are responsible for ensuring that the information they submit to SLIIK is accurate, current, and not misleading.
Creator listings may include information such as name, bio, niche, social profiles, audience size, location, rates, portfolio information, and contact details.
By submitting information for a public creator listing, you understand that the information intended for that listing may be visible to visitors of SLIIK.
4. Creator responsibility
Creators are responsible for their own content, claims, social profiles, rates, availability, communications, and business relationships with brands.
SLIIK does not guarantee that a creator will receive brand enquiries, collaborations, campaigns, sales, followers, or any particular financial result.
5. Brand and creator interactions
SLIIK allows brands and other visitors to discover creators and contact them using the information or contact methods provided by the creator.
Any negotiation, collaboration, campaign, payment, contract, deliverable, or other agreement between a brand and creator is made directly between those parties.
SLIIK does not guarantee the identity, conduct, financial ability, reliability, or intentions of any person using the platform.
6. Rates and pricing
Any creator rates displayed on SLIIK are provided by creators and are intended as informational starting points.
Creators and brands may independently negotiate final pricing, deliverables, timelines, usage rights, and other campaign terms.
7. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content and materials that you submit to SLIIK, subject to the rights reasonably required for SLIIK to display and operate your listing.
You must only submit content that you have the right to use and display.
The SLIIK name, branding, website design, software, graphics, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to SLIIK unless otherwise stated.
8. Public information
Creator discovery is a core purpose of SLIIK. Information deliberately submitted as part of a public creator listing may therefore be displayed publicly.
Creators should avoid submitting sensitive information that they do not want publicly accessible.
9. Removal and suspension
SLIIK may remove, suspend, restrict, or modify a creator listing or access to the platform where we reasonably believe that these Terms have been violated, the platform is being misused, or action is necessary to protect the platform or its users.
10. No guarantee
SLIIK is provided on an availability basis and we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available.
We also do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information supplied by creators or other users.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SLIIK is not responsible for disputes, losses, damages, payments, missed opportunities, fraudulent conduct, or other issues arising from interactions or transactions between creators and brands.
Users are responsible for conducting their own reasonable checks before entering into business relationships with others.
12. Privacy
Your use of SLIIK is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information submitted through the platform may be collected, used, and displayed.
13. Changes to SLIIK
SLIIK may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform as it develops.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SLIIK after an updated version is published may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by applicable law.
